The woman
behind the work.
I didn’t arrive at this work in a straight line. I arrived through twenty years of clinical practice, six children, a marriage, a divorce, a decision to leave everything familiar, and a one-way ticket to Madeira.
As a Physician Assistant and Licensed Professional Counselor, I’ve sat with thousands of women in the middle of their own crossroads — the ones who’ve done everything right and still feel like something essential is missing. I know that feeling. I’ve lived inside it.
The body and the psyche are never separate problems. I hold both — and I’ll hold both for you.
My work lives at the intersection of the body and the psyche — what Jungians call the individuation process, what van der Kolk calls the wisdom of the nervous system, what movement practitioners have known for centuries: that the body is never separate from the story. It carries everything.
I write, coach, and consult from Madeira, Portugal, where I’m currently learning Portuguese, training for my next endurance event, and living what I write about: the examined, intentional, nomadic life of a woman in her second chapter.
This is not a blueprint. It’s a mirror. I use my life as evidence that reinvention is not a theory — it’s a practice.
Let’s do this together.
Whether you’re here for the writing, the guides, or a focused conversation — you’re in the right place.
